Day 9-Exercise, Broth and Outtakes!

Mary here…Well, the hunger I had yesterday dissipated..I feel great today. I had fun with Christine as we tried to get through one section of our video blog. FYI, the shot in the kitchen is our microwave-cam. Yup… the camera is in the microwave, thanks to Christine’s terrific idea. Thanks honey!

  • Hi Christine and Mary,
So happy I stumbled on your blog this morning while looking for some juicing recipe and tips.
My Partner Amy and I watched FSAND last week and have decided to begin our juice fast tomorrow.
I have been feeling a bit nervous about it but I feel better having found some likeminded women 10 days ahead of us with a fantastic blog.
    Thanks!
Now off to the Hollywood farmers market to stock up!
    Cheers
    Lorin

    • Hi Amy and Lorin. Thanks for your comment and for checking out our blog. Our purpose in doing this is to share our story and process to help others to realize how important it is to take charge of your health.
So glad to hear you guys are starting your juice fast! Let us know how you’re doing and come back often for more updates.

  • Thank you for posting about the broth. That is a great idea! My husband and I are on day 2 of our reboot. Right now we are following the plan from the reboot site, so still eating fruits and veggies, but we might stay on the juice only part longer than 5 days.

    • You’re welcome! We look forward to the broth all day cause it really feels like a meal. Congrats your reboot! I can tell you first hand that it will be easy to go past 5 days on the juice. We’re on day 19, almost a third of the way there and it’s still pretty easy, except for the feeling of missing to eat solid food. Whatever you decide to do, good luck!

  • Hello,
I am on day one and would love to incorporate your broth into my fast. Do you recall how much pulp (ie. how many juices) it took to make a batch of pulp? Thanks so much for sharing your journey! Truly inspiring!
    Best,
    G
