Day 52 Muscle loss while juice fasting?

Christine here…Great day today. Got up early to go to the farmers’ market as usual on a Sunday and realized this was the last time we would be shopping for a week’s supply of juicing produce. Next week we will have one day of juicing left and then have to think about how much to buy for juicing and eating! I’m really excited…it’s so close and I’m so ready.

Mary here.. It seems like these days keep going by faster and faster. And it’s been a challenge trying to get video blogs in daily. But we really care about others out there who are wanting to try this juice fast or are in the thick of it and need support or help.

  • I actually started (or more accurately, re-started) my exercise routine (cardio + weight machines) while I was still in the 3-week prep stage of the fast. It may be too soon to tell since I am only 9 days into the actual fast, but so far my body isn’t telling me to stop exercising. I have gone a little slower on some days, but I was doing that before the fast as well. At least this may explain why the numbers on the scale don’t seem to be moving too quickly for me…I thought I was doing something wrong. Unfortunately, I am now quite the slave to the scale (though my mind knows I shouldn’t be)! 🙂
